Visa Requirements
All non-residents require a visa for India, which must be obtained prior to departure. Tourist visas for British passport holders are usually valid for 6 months from the date of issue and currently costs £60.00 per person.Passports must have at least 2 blank pages and should be valid for 6 months after your return from India.

Local medical facilities are not comparable to those in the UK, especially in remote areas. However, in the major cities private medical care is available. There are many diseases common to India. You should take care with your water and food hygiene.You should drink or use only boiled or bottled water and avoid ice in drinks.If you suffer from diarrhoea during a visit to India you should seek immediate medical attention.Mosquito-borne diseases, such as Malaria, Dengue and Chikungunya affect most of India.
