A visa year covers a period from 1 January to 31 December each year.
Health Advice
Local medical facilities are not comparable to those in the UK, especially in remote areas. However, in Kathmandu private medical care is available. You should take care with your water and food hygiene. You should drink or use only boiled or bottled water and avoid ice in drinks.
Insurance
We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance before traveling. You should check any exclusion, and that your policy covers you for all the activities you want to undertake.
