Afterwards, in Medival period Muslim rulers dominated along with Rajput rulers in North India which lead to picturesque effect to the art and buildings because of the use of Central Asian art and architecture. The meaning of art, philosophy and literature was known during this period. Lastly, in Modern period British crown ruled India and this period witnessed lot of infrastructure development in big cities keeping modesty and technical aspects in mind. Apart from this lot of landmarks and monuments were created for the welcome of Queen Elizabeth and Lord when they travelled to India. All eras left their mark in traditions, cultures, rituals, customs which can be seen in the inherited local population and historical monuments. DAY 1 TO 2: DELHI
On arrival at Delhi International Airport, our tour manager will meet you and transfer to hotel for check-in. Visit the historical and cultural monuments developed by Mughal and British leaders during their regime of New Delhi and Old Delhi. These includes Red Fort, red Jama Masjid , Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, India Gate and drive past President House also known as Viceroy's Mansion. The most attractive activity of the day will be the Rickshaw ride in the narrow lanes of Old Delhi showcasing the real culture and provides the feel of the life of local people of Delhi . |

DAY 3 TO 4 : VARANASI
Domestic flight from Delhi to Varanasi .
Varanasi amongst the oldest living cities in the world is also the holiest of Hindu Pilgrimages. It is just not important for Hindus, but has links with Buddhism and Jainism as well. It was at Sarnath close by, that Buddha preached his first sermon and Lord Mahaveer also revealed his Jain Philosophy at Kasi nearby. Varanasi is to Hindus what the Vatican is to Catholics. Take a boat ride along the Ghats on the holy Ganges and observe the people busy with daily spiritual rituals and rites in the early morning and evening during sunset. Participate in the ceremonies at Ghats and soak in the special aura of this environment. A walk through the narrow lanes will give you the sight of original Hindu culture by closeness which is an eye opening experience. |

DAY 5: KHAJURAHO
Domestic flight from Varanasi to Khajuraho (1 hour) Khajuraho: Hallmark of the Chandela Dynasty that ruled central India between the 10th and 11th Century A.D., the 25 yrs old surviving temples are today a world heritage site. The temples are world famous for their erotic carvings and have given rise to much speculation since their discovery by a British officer in 1838. Your sights will include these World heritage temples along with architectural sites developed by Chandela Dynasty. In evening enjoy breathtaking Sound and Light show at Khajuraho temples. |

DAY 6 TO 7: AGRA
Drive to Jhansi via the ruins of Orchha (04 hrs) followed by super fast train journey from Jhansi to Agra (3.5hrs) Orchha is dotted with temples and palaces of Bundela Kings on the Shore of Betwa River. On the nest day explore the magnificent Taj Mahal poetry in marble stone and imposing Agra Fort, built of red sandstone and marble. This is the only fort where Mughal Rulers Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Shahjahan and Aurangzeb govern their used to control their states. |

DAY 7 TO 8: JAIPUR
Drive to Jaipur from Agra via Fatehpur Sikri (255kms/06 hrs) Fatehpur Sikri the now-deserted 16Th century red stone city and UNESCO World Heritage Site was political capital of Akbar. Arrive in Agra for a first visit to the Taj Mahal by evening. Start the afternoon tour of historical "Pink City", pink color is associated with hospitality in Rajput culture. Your tour will include Jantar Mantar (Observatory) collection place of architectural astronomical instruments and The City Palace & Museum, the palace where royal family lives in. Next Morning visit Amber Fort, en route stopping at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Amber Fort, situated in the picturesque location is the perfect blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. The most fascinating way to reach the Amber fort is on "elephant back"; this is truly a royal experience. In afternoon stroll through local Jaipur markets famous for its Jewellery and textiles. It is also known as shopper's paradise. |

DAY 9 : DEOGARH / JOJAWAR
Drive from Jaipur to Deogarh/Jojawar (300kms/06 hrs) Here enjoy the rural train safari or Canter safari to nearby lakes. In evening enjoy the local markets by walking on own. |

DAY 10 TO 11: UDAIPUR
Udaipur is Rajasthan's most congenial and romantic city situated in the lap of thickly wooded Aravali hills. It has been called the "Venice of the East". Enjoy the sights including City Palace, Jagdish temple and Sahelion- Ki - Bari. In evening enjoy the boat ride at Lake Picchola and experience the true beauty of this "City of Lakes". Take a short flight from Udaipur to Mumbai (02 hrs) . |

DAY 12 TO 13: MUMBAI
The design of buildings and VT station situated in downtown Mumbai district of 'Fort' offers a fascinating view of Bombay's colonial heritage from insight. Apart from them elegant building situated between Gateway of India and Bombay High Court, represents the colonial past of Mumbai better known as India's financial and business centre. It has got the same status like Hollywood is having in USA because of its attachment to the Indian Film Industry from beginning. Your sightseeing will include colonial heritage building in the form of Wales Museum, CST Station and Gateway of India. Apart from these we will be also sighting Mani Bhavan, the residence of Mahatma Gandhi and Dhobi Ghat the "open air" laundry of Mumbai. In the end eat out at one of its myriad restaurants and drop off at International Airport to catch the flight for your home country with memorable vacations. |
